Question / Help how to run 2 at once?

I want to keep doing my normal twitch.tv 1080p stream but also send a 480p to own3d.tv I tried copying the OBS folder but that didn't work. Is this possible?

you can use a program called sandboxie to run 2 obs simultaneously. just keep in mind that if you're using game capture to capture the same game it probably won't work on both at the same time

Afaik Sanboxie was made for isolating a program from other software. Are you sure it will be able to capture a game that isn't run in Sandboxie? (Using Gamecapture ofc :))

i have tested it and it doesn't work. dxtory should still work though.

hitalpro would you mind explaining how to do that? I've got dxtory but its confusing. I don't even know what this app does but it looks powerful.

it captures your game and sends the output as a virtual video source . unlike obs's game capture that video output can be accessed by multiple other programs at the same time. dxtory uses more resources than obs game capture.

i would only recommend dxtory if you want to do 2 streams on a game that doesn't allow full screen borderless (windowed mode).

Didn't work for me, but a guy in the OBS irc gave me a 2nd OSB.exe that works and runs separately. I've got it working now.
