How to revover an mp4 file, or from the logs pls...

hi, my obs wasnt responding when i was sasving a recording, so i decided to close it to see if that would help and hopefully save the footage, but it didnt so im wondering if there is a way to revovy that footage, the logs i think saved correctly. It wwas 6 hours of mc footage and i dont want to the loose it, all it mangaged to save was 7 minutes out of those 6 hours

Unfortunately if you were recording with mp4 it wouldn't be recoverable, that is why there is this warning text when that format is selected. I would suggest hybrid mp4 for future recordings.

I've seen reports in this forum that even hybrid MP4 didn't survive a problem/crash. NO idea is the issue was the users PC (entirely possible), but why risk it?
So I recommend following the instructions and record to MKV, and auto-remux (which I do, and a 75minute 1080p30 12GB file takes about 15-20 seconds to remux to MP4 on a SATA SSD ... easy peasy
