how to retrieve a recording when OBS quit abruptly and unintentionally?

Hi,
Iit is common for my system where OBS started recording to stop and have to restart.
Is there then a way to recover the recording?
(The recorded file is present but does not seem to be accessible anymore)

Its generally best advised to record to .MKV as you can recover your crashed recordings in the directory you have setup for your video recordings.unfortunately if you are recording to .mp4, I know of no way to recover a recording during an OBS crash. So I’d recommend always recording to .MKV and remux to .mp4 afterwards…..my opinion :)
