All my gameplays recorded with OBS run poorly in Vegas preview. I can see my 2080 TI decoding load reaching 100% so there's some bottleneck here.
All the Vegas settings are tweaked to high performance editing playback.
If I convert the file with Handbrake, the decoding load drops to 30% and the preview playback runs smooth like butter.
But that requires yet another conversion which takes a third of the recorded time.
What exactly is OBS doing to the file for this to happen? Is there a way to record directly to a format that requires less decoding load?
