Question / Help How to Record Party Chat on Xbox One

I use OBS and an Avermedia Live Gamer HD to record footage. I can easily record my own voice via my Astro A40's while using OBS. I don't understand how I can record party chat since on the Xbox One there is no option to have the voices play through the television set. I do not have a Kinect (one solution I could think of to party chat woes), but I'd like to use the Astro A40's to record my voice but be able to record what other people say as well. Please help me.

Fix - Xbox One settings > Devices & accessories > Xbox One Wireless Controller > Assign to someone > Guest

Basically for me I found that whenever i connected and disconnected the controller Party chat would get picked up on OBS for a brief second or two. By un-pairing it with your profile some how this allows party chat to come through and get recorded.

Hope this helps others, i drove me crazy and i've not seen this fix posted anywhere on my searches. I will be posting this in a couple of other OBS threads where it could help,
