When I started using OBS I wanted to learn to record muiltiple tracks, so if something loud happened ingame, I could lower it without lowering my voice, long story short I failed and didnt bother, now with me going back to trying youtube for fun, I think I would like to learn to record muiltiple tracks, now the problem is that I will use Mp4 as my format, then, check mark all 3 audio tracks for OBS>settings>Output>advanced>recording

Then I would go to the mixer and have my mic and desktop be on track one, then have them be in seperate tracks, in the editing software I hear both, but only 2 tracks pop up, the image and the audio, its because I use hitfilm, so I cant get the other audio tracks for some reason, do I have to use something like audiacity or something? Thanks

Also I looked at it and I already did that, it doesnt work, I use hitfilm 2017 express to edit my stuff

edit: Im using hitfilm 21.1 not 22, is there a way to update it or do I have to delete it and download the new one?

If the audio tracks play properly when you select them while watching the video in VLC, then there's nothing we can do about your editor not supporting it.
