Question / Help How to record a stream using certain audio channels?

I have been trying to figure out how to play music while I stream but not have that channel record when it is complete. I would like to create highlights that have the desktop sound but not include the music that I am playing while I stream

Do you want your stream to hear the music? There are only single audio channels when sending audio to twitch.
 
Yes I still would like my stream to hear the music. I was just curious that when obs sets up the recording if there was any way of it recording the stream without the music channel

by record, are you streaming and recording at the same time? The only way you could get a local recording without the music is if you did two instances of OBS (one record, one stream,) and use something like VAC
