Question / Help How to prevent OBS from streaming "one moment please"

Hi I am new to the forums & I would like to know if it's possible for OBS or Twitch to stream after my elgato capture card has connected with my console so that it prevents the "one moment please" while viewers can see me sit there waiting for my game to appear.

If you set the Elgato as a global source and create a new "Welcome" scene without the Elgato that you can "start" streaming with, then when you start streaming, the Elgato will load in the background, and then you can switch to the scene with the Elgato after it is loaded.

Actually I believe global sources are only loaded the first time they're used, so you would need to have the Elgato on your first scene, but hidden below your welcome image / whatever.

Correct, add your global sources UNDER a full screen image to let it load, then switch to your normal gaming scene.
