Question / Help How to precisely resize and move a watermark/logo image overlay?

Can anyone tell me how do I precisely resize and move to a precise position the image overlay that serves me as a watermark/logo.

In this image are the desired scale and position:

I know there is that edit scene option where you can drag and move it around but you don't see the values.

And yes another question. I see that in image properties there is a color option (white by default). Does this means that it will overlay this color over my image? How to avoid this? I want my original logo color.

after you have it selected with edit image, use the arrow keys to move it around. resize is just grabbing the black box to the proper size.. after finished press edit scene again to "lock" it in place. use transparency or maybe its called opaqueness to adjust it so it is more like a watermark

I just mentioned I know that. I was asking for some precise positioning and resizing not only 'by eye".

Also whats with that color property option before opacity which you cant seem to turn it off or choose none?

When "use color key" is enabled you can click select then select a color to become transparent on that capture. this is helpful for those with a green screen to make the green transparent to show what is behind it instead.

besides using the arrow keys and the many right click options in sources, I dont think there is a way to modify the placement using a positional number without modifying a file called scenes.xconfig. but I will say modifying it incorrectly can cause it to become corrupt.

ok thank you I suppose I have to find a method prior to adding the pciture to obs.

Nah I was not reffering to color key but the other color option between file output and opacity.

holding the CTRL key allows for more precise manual positioning. If the images you use are PNG, you can save them all in your native resolution (1920x1080), leave the backgrounds blank and the image will appear exactly where you position them

The only way to be truly pixel-precise in OBS1 is to modify the scene's xconfig file directly in a text editor. In OBS-MP you can use the transform dialog window which is a lot easier:

you can change it. double click and select a color or pick one from the gradient chart then add custom color.
