Question / Help How to override Logitech C920 Camera Configuration with OBS Configuration?

I had my stream set up earlier this year with the same camera but I was able to somehow bypass the Logitech configuration that pops up when I right click on my webcam source and go to "Properties".

It had all kinds of cool stuff that made my camera quality amazing. Really crisp sharpness settings and what not.

Now, I'm stuck with the cheap built in logitech configuration manager that has maybe 4 options :[

I've looked all over google for a similar thread, but couldn't find anything.

All I've gathered is "OBS will automatically open a vendors built in configuration" - but is there a way to override that? Because before I could use OBS's webcam configuration.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :]

Could you grab a screenshot of the current config panel? OBS has always called the device driver's config utility; possible it was put into a minimal or simple mode?

Sure. Thanks for replying. Here is a screen of what it looks like when I hit "Configure" before I remember it being a configuration window within OBS itself.

Same camera. Not sure what to do. The logitech configuration is horrible...Makes everything look weird.

That looks totally normal to me, and has always been that way in both OBS1 and OBS-MP for as long as I've owned a Logitech webcam. I'm not surprised the output looks terrible if you're using the settings in the screenshot. Super low resolution and crazy slider positions.

Seconded. That's the normal one I have.

Also seconded: Tiny output, MJPG (instead of I420), and your settings are literally all over the place. I'd be pretty surprised if that's your actual white balance point. And if you need that much gain, you need more lighting.

Would have been nice if the original question was answered. Is there any way by pass the limited Logitech settings for more extensive settings?
