How to overlay a filename (for Media Source or VLC) on screen

I'm streaming a video playlist via VLC source to Youtube using OBS Studio. Every 10 mins or so, the file changes to one of hundreds. I'd like to have an overlay that shows the filename on the bottom of the screen. Is this possible? I've checked plugins and native OBS functionality, yet nobody knows how or is even trying to. I can use VLC or Media Source, whichever can accomplish this.

Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

I have the exact same question, its been plaguing me for over 2 years now.
I know its just a plugin, but the VLC source needs more settings. :)

Any solution found to this . The filename plays fine in VLC but does not show in OBS VLC source when streaming. Just want to show the creator of the video and filename. I tried Tuna and Lua as detailed by this guy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TXSYBF7160A on using txt-trigger.lua No success yet.
