I'm going to start managing the multimedia for an auditorium that hosts various events, many of them in person and with Teams calls, and we have old video equipment. My goal would be to replace the equipment with OBS while keeping the mixing desk for obvious reasons such as microphones, room sound, etc.
After some research, I realized that with the virtual camera, I will be able to broadcast things to Teams for those attending the events (e.g. webinars).
But how can I set up OBS to have two outputs? I need one output for Teams and another for the auditorium. Do I have to run two identical instances, one for Teams and one for the auditorium? Can this be done in a single OBS? Have one preview and two programmes (one output for the auditorium, one output for Teams)?
I already have the setup half figured out and am working on it, but when it comes to hybrid events, I don't understand how I can produce two outputs.
