How to make Stats Overlay appear on Stream, but Record locally without it?

Hey guys,

I'm aiming to record a clean video locally for upload to youtube later but encourage my Live Streaming viewers to help me towards my follower/subscriber goals and so on by making them aware of what my goals are (either scrolling along the bottom of the screen or appearing in a source periodically).

Does the ability to do this exist?
