Question / Help How to make only the MIC push to talk?

Hey, This has probably been answered before and I tried searching but I can't find my specific question...

I have lots of background noise when I stream and want to make sure the only sound going thru the stream is from my computer + my mic when I use PTT. When I leave PTT off, everything from my TV to my dog gets picked up. When I use PTT, my stream is completely muted including my teamspeak and game sound. How can I make it so that the PTT is ONLY for my mic, and not the computer/desktop sound?

Thanks

try this:
https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/microphone-dsp-plugin.127/

but also notes that unidirectional mics like the ones on headphones often pick up a lot of background noise.

Thanks. I installed the plugin and placed it in the appropiate folder, but the configure button is greyed out for it. Is this just to help lessen the background noise or does it do the PTT for my mic too?

as you can see in my post; ptt is not limited to the mic.. its the whole stream...
I cant see because there is no logfile or youtube demo.
Do you use speakers for your sound or headphones?
From what I understand ALL your sound is coming through the mic input because that is the only way PTT would filter sound. post your logfile. you probably have the wrong inputs and outputs set up in the audio tab.

PTT should only filter the mic.
