Question / Help How to keep OBS studio "opened" all the time?

Hey

So let me rephrase what I want to do.

I got 3 monitors. I was hoping I could keep OBS studio open in 1 monitor so that way I can monitor the video/stream of my channel. However, it seems that I cannot play in fullscreen mode to do that because the prograsm "freezes" when playing a game in fullscreen.

Still, is there a way I can monitor obs while playing a game in fullscreen?
Thanks!

It shouldn't freeze. I've had a few games that misbehaved like that; most commonly DX11 programs. Switching to DX9 fixed them so they worked all the time, or sometimes you have to alt-tab out and back in a few times until the other desktops continue updating like they should. This isn't an OBS issue; it's a video card driver and/or OS issue. NOTHING on the screen updates, when that happens, as the game/app has fully taken over the rendering pipeline including shutting out the other monitors. And yes, it's annoying as heck to tab out and back in over and over again until it works right.

Thank you @FerretBomb for the reply!

Yeah I only tried first with the Metro games. Unfortunately, it seems to NOT work for this game. However, I just tried it with other games and it works.
