Hi Jim (and others)

I love your software. just wanted to tell you that :)

So I want to add my Ip camera as a source and found this plugin: ffmpeginputplugin_v0.2.1 (by Nosferatu) but I cant get it work. So i am wondering if im doing it right.

I download plugin
put files here: C:\Program Files (x86)\OBS\plugins
Start OBS and are getting errors such as: avutil-52.dll, avcodec-55.dll is missing and GetNewestFrame@audioSource@@UAE_NPAPAMPAI@Z wasnt found in DLL library OBSApi.dll

The plugin needs updating. otherwise you can use the OBS 0.48.010 test build until the plugin adapts to the API again.

If you choose to download the old test build make sure that it's 32bit and extract the file to the \32bit directory.

Thanks...

I may do that.

About plugins generally; I am extracting them correct?

I download plugin
put files here: C:\Program Files (x86)\OBS\plugins

or should it be here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\OBS\64bit\plugins

Because the shortcut that the OBS installer made on my desktop points to here: "C:\Program Files (x86)\OBS\OBS.exe"

Generally they should be extracted on "C:\Program Files (x86)\OBS\plugins" unless you prefer running the 64bit version of obs.

if you usually run obs from your desktop shortcut then you're correct the first directory is where they should be extracted.
