How to install 2 OBS with different settings?

Please tell me if this is possible and if so, how to do it?

I want to install two OBS, so as not to suffer with constant changes in settings and parameters, since one OBS needs one stream key, bitrate, etc., and another OBS needs a completely different one.
I tried to install the second OBS in another folder, but if I run it from this folder, the first OBS opens. I also tried to install a second OBS on another drive, but it still runs the same OBS.

Thank you in advance!

I'd still recommend to stick to one instance of OBS Studio and switch Profile and Scene Collection (at the main menu).

Run in portable mode.
To run in portable mode add to main folder e.g. file with name portable_mode.txt
On i7 6. gen i run three OBS with three diffrent camera.

Did I understand you correctly that for this I need to go into the OBS program itself from my profile? You will not complicate to show where is a switching of profiles?:)

Hello Lilith. Try (in the top toolbar of the obs window):
Profile -> New
Create a new profile now.
After that, when you click on Profile -> .. you will find your new profile along with the default "untitled" one.
These profiles are there to solve your exact use case :) Changes to your settings will be saved within the profile, and thus make it easy to switch between them simply by switching the profile via the top toolbar.
Best of luck.

How would this work if I had two different completely different OBS setups, with 2 complete different output resolutions across an array of NDI linked computers (one OBS output being widescreen aspect like my 3440x1440 widescreen I have streamed this it worked and was cool the other OBS output being the standard 1920 x 1080 or 1280 x 720). Would it leave the sources in the original at 1920 x 1080 while the other is at 3440 (1720) x 1440 (720) aspect, and not muddle any scenes or sources shapes and resolutions? I think I will try it but I am not sure exactly what you mean by 'main folder' or name change.

I had major issues that took hours to solve when I tried to do this with 2 profiles. I am running scripts and NDIs so it was a big mess with all my scenes losing their shape and having to copy transform after restretching sources and paste transform to 10 or so scenes. I had also to rename and replace the NDI source as it came out with color shift blur from the profile switch. Only way to remove the color shifting blur was by renaming the NDI output source on the first computer, which diagnosis took me over an hour or 2 to do. I don't want to attempt to go into the 1720x720 profile again after this I can tell you!

Not to mention crashes after changing NDI sources on the 2nd and 3rd computers.
