Question / Help How to improve Quality?

Hi,

I started to stream in-door football, Futsal, 2012 autumn.
I've used these products for it:

Acer Aspire 5742G - laptop
Sony HDR-CX250E - HD-camera
Ion VIDEO2GO - Videocapture
+
OBS

Now I've wondered how I could improve the quality of the stream.

Bitrates it is between 2200-3000.
Resolution 1280x720.
With that videocapture I have only captured video with 640x480 resolution, 29.997fps.

First I streamed @ Ustream but switched to Justin.tv cause I thought the servers are a bit closer. Is this right? I'm living in Finland.

Do I need to buy better capturebox or something like that if I want to stream Futsal HD?

I'm new with these kind of stuff, so it would be nice if someone could help me out!

If the Video Capture Device options are only allowing up to 640x480, then yes, the limiting factor here is indeed the capture device.

I am not very familiar with capture devices, but there are plenty of people around who are. They can likely provide you with good suggestions.

I have now started to think if I'd buy new HD-camera that I could plug-in with USB/HDMI. Camera could work like HD Web-camera but I would love if it is like real camera cause I got foot where I will put camera in.

This USB/HDMI thing isn't so popular with new cameras that computer won't read it as web-camera, if I'm correct?

So if someone could suggest good HD-cameras that I can go this thing, I would be really happy. I'll also try to google them by myself.

One option is that I will try to check out if I could try my friends capture device.
