Question / Help How to Improve my stream

Hey guys, first at all thanks a lot for this awesome open source software.

My native screen resolution is 1920x1200 (25.5") and i'm having trouble with that.
I tried lot of things but can't figure out why my stream is a bit blurry when i'm watching it on my screen. When i use my 16/9 laptop, it's pretty nice except those ugly vertical black borders.

Here is my twitch Channel : http://www.twitch.tv/broadcast/dashboar ... /recorded#
Advanced options are all set to default, i'm just playing with Enconding (quality/bitrate) and base resolution.

Sadly, i can't downscale stream because at 1920x1200, the first downscale offer is 1280x800 which is really far from my native resolution.

This guys is using Obs and we have the same pc spec, my internet is a bit faster. http://www.twitch.tv/blatty/b/363320827 but the quality is much better.

Using this analyser (thanks for the one who created it) http://r-1.ch/analyze-twitch-vod.php?ur ... F363320827 I tried his settings but it's still the same.

Do you guys have any idea on how to get my stream non blurry?

Thanks!

First, here is the correct link to your vod's: http://www.twitch.tv/alistar02/videos?k ... broadcasts

You can't get rid of the black borders unless you drop to 1080p yourself. Then you will have the borders on your monitor, but the stream will be 16:9.

The quality looks pretty much the same to me. You are moving a lot in your videos while he is mostly just sitting there. The more static picture will be better, it's the way it works.

Also, post your log file.

Grimio and Krnag,
I am having the same issue when I stream League of Legends! What do you mean by drop yourself you 1080p? Is this is OBS or in game?

If you don't want your viewers to have black borers, you have to endure them yourself if you don't have a 16:9 monitor.
So if you have a 1920x1200 resolution, you need to drop it to 1920x1080 in windows(and in game if the game doesn't recognize it automatically). Now you will have 2 x 60 pixel black borders on top and bottom of your screen, and your viewers can watch a borderless 16:9 fullscreen stream.
