Hello! I would like to ask if there is a way for me to hide OBS's menu bar? Im using OBS to stream on Discord but this will show up on Discord when Discord's setting "Voice and Video" > "Use our latest technology to capture your screen" is toggled off.
Let me clarify the question: do you expericence the menu bar's presence while using Virtual Camera as an input for Discord? If not, how do you get OBS's stream in?
Im not using Virtual Camera on Discord and instead Im using Discord's Application Screen Share to stream OBS. I've added a Display Capture to OBS to stream my monitor 1 to Discord.
Well, that's not really the intended way to use OBS... so don't be surprised if it is not completely supported (i.e. shows an undesired menu bar). What's the objection to that?
yeah true but I was hoping if its possible to maybe hide the grey bar when mouse in or out of OBS window or maybe some ways/hacks that I can use to hide it and bring it up with a hotkey.
Discord's setting "Voice and Video" > "Use our latest technology to capture your screen" are able to crop it out automatically but I had to reduce screen size on OBS. It causes the shared screen to be slightly smaller.
I have considered that before but the Fullscreen Projector is unable to output sound. or is there a way to allow the projector to output sound?
oh the OBS is able to replay the audio using Audio Mixer > Advance Audio Properties > Audio Monitoring and set it to "Monitor and Output"
with that, Im able to stream the OBS(entire desktop) with audio. but small issue here is that the projector doesn't have the output audio. so I had to stream the main window instead.
