Question / Help How to get help

Hi everyone,
I've got an issue with video glitching as mentioned in this thread. It's a month old and has zero responses. What am I doing wrong? Are these forums that dead? At this point I'll take any suggestion I can get (although I've tried quite a few things on my own). I'm learning OBS but this one is beyond me. Can someone, anyone, guide me?

I'm sorry if I've missed something or am not asking in the right place. Just tell me what to do differently and I will.

Thanks!

Hello there
Can you send a clean log's URL here?

1) Restart OBS
2) Start your stream/recording for about 30 seconds. Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.
3) Stop your stream/recording.
4) Select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File. Copy the URL and paste it here.
(Note: If you do not see an obsproject.com URL, you will need to update OBS Studio to version 22+)

It's in the original thread (which never got a response). Copied here: Hello everyone. New to OBS. Trying to get things working with Skype for content creators. The linked video here shows what we are seeing in both the local Skype preview window (on my end) and the other party's screen. Every second or so there is a glitch out where my screen turns grey. I have read through several configuration settings. Increasing the number of buffered frames in Virtualcam doesn't seem to help. I'm on a high end 15" Surface Book 2 i7 with an NVIDIA GTX-1060. Should be plenty of horsepower to work correctly right?

It's disappointing that these forums are as dead as they are. Getting help seems pretty unlikely.

Does this still happen if you don't use Virtualcam?

I've only seen a similar complaint once, and that was also from a Virtualcam user.
