How to get a more gradual Fade?

Hi, I'm new to OBS and could use some assistance with Fading from one Scene to the next. I'm using Advanced Scene Switcher to automatically switch from an intro video to a splashscreen with countdown timer and finally to a multicamera scenes where the cameras switch from one to the other. My issue is that I find the scene switching to be too abrupt.

Within Advanced Scene Switcher, on the Sequence tab where you set the transitions, I've set the scenes to fade from one scene to the next using the Fade selection, however, as mentioned I still find them very abrupt. Is there a way to make them softer, even perhaps with a second of overlap?

Ps.. I haven' included a log file as this is a general question. I hope that's OK!

Simpy set of fade duration in Transition.

Hi, appreciate your response, but my version of OBS doesn't allow the ability to set "fade duration" in Transitions. I do have the newest version of OBS installed.

You didn't understand me well. In Advanced Scene Switcher go to the second tab Transition, there you can set the effect time as desired.
