Question / Help How to Generate Black or Color?

How would I do this in OBS, if it is possible to do?

I want to generate "black", i.e. a digital value of 0,1 or 16 and use it as a source which can be cut or faded to. The thing is, there would be no hardware device such as a camera associated with this source.

For that matter, could one generate any plain color such as RGB(xx,xx,xx) and use it as a video source with no hardware device associated with it?

I'm not sure what you are trying to achieve but you can add a PNG image to a scene. You could transition to that scene to give you a fade to black, fade from black effect

Yeah, you guessed it -- fade in and out from/to black or any color.

Next question: Could the audio likewise be made to fade in and out simultaneously with the video?
