Hi. I would like to be able to focus on a specific thing when recording, rather than having my whole screen be recorded... How do I do that? (For an example, I would like to, say, only record... Discord, the desktop version, rather than have everything displayed on my screen recorded. Also, I only have one monitor)

You have numerous source types available in addition to display capture. To record a specific application, use Window Capture. To record some 3d-accelerated game, use Game Capture.
Unfortunately, some apps refuse to being captured by Window Capture. Browsers and Microsoft Office can be captured if you deactivate their hardware acceleration option. Windows shop apps can only be captured by Display Capture. In case you can only use Display capture, use the crop feature to limit the captured area: press and hold the ALT key and resize the captured area by moving the source handles in the OBS preview.

I have no idea what window and game capture is. My OBS is also danish, and when I try to change it to english, it won't do that... It just stays as danish. And what I mean is, because I'm pretty sure I'm already doing window capture, I want to be able to do something else, while OBS records something. Say I'm playing.. Minecraft, just as an example. I want it to be able to record that and only that, without me being forced to be on that screen, but actually being able to watch for example youtube or read something in the mean time.

I don't know. I just changed mine from English to Danish and back again. I also could not find Game Capture in the list of sources. If I add one with English selected, it stays "game capture" even after I change languages.
The number of options in the list is the same in both languages, I just haven't tracked down which one of the Danish options is "game capture". Mostly because I don't know Danish.
Not sure why yours won't change. You do need to restart the app for the change to take place, it doesn't change right away.
