Question / Help how to fix terrible video quality?

i recorded my desktop for a few minutes then stopped to check the quality, and it looked terrible. i don't know how to fix it. i've looked up several solutions but none of them worked. i don't have much knowledge on types of things so some assistance would be greatly appreciated.

i'm mainly planning on recording for a while, then editing afterwards and uploading it to youtube. i won't be doing streaming or recording games if this helps any.

I can't see any horrible quality.
Of course, the fonts are looking a little blurry, because you downscale your base resolution from 1366x768 to 908x512.
You could change your downscale filter from bicubic to lanczos, which will slightly sharpen the image.

For more sharpness, you should try to record in the same resolution, as your desktop is running or even better, get a monitor with a tyical 16:9 resolution like 1920x1080 or 1280x720 instead of 1366x768.
