I do live broadcast on Facebook and YouTube..

Canvas 1920x1080
Scaled 1280 x 720

I have used bilinear and lanczos.. both of them come out pretty blurry...

I have bitrate at 1400.. I believe I could go up to 1600 just fine however..

Using encoder x264.... However in my computer I do have NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) GTX 745 4GB DDR3

The videos are coming out pretty blurry after the live broadcast... What could I do to fix it?

That bitrate is really low for 720p 30fps. You generally need at least 2000 (assuming the veryfast preset for x264), and 2500 is recommended.

How do I know I have a fast preset?

The processor I have is:
Intel (R) Core (TM) i7-6700 CPU @3.40GHz 3.41 GHz

For some reason I was thinking the max I could go was 1600 bitrate?

Would the x264 encoder be fine?

The bitrate will be limited by your internet upload speed.

Go ahead and post a log per the sticky thread.

Oh yea... my upload is 1.92 mbps, that is why I was doing 1400 bitrate...

So.. if I want a better resolution I need to get more speed on my internet connection? Anyway to make it any clearer at that upload speed?

I guess I could deal with a no so clear resolution if I don't upgrade to a faster internet... for the moment..

You'll need to downscale the resolution to something lower than 720p if you don't have the upload to accommodate a higher bitrate.

Well...

I upgraded to a 3.0mbps but in reality, I am getting like 4.3 or so...

I went with:

Scaled 1280x720
Bicubic 16 samples
30 fps

Output advanced
x264
2500 bitrate
2500 buffer size
keyframe interval 2

The image quality is pretty much the same as when I was using the 1.92 mbps speed on the uploads.

The video image from a webcam looks better.

However, when streaming internet pages and the writing is much blurry in the video than actually looking at your screen.
