Question / Help How to file output only?

I normally used OBS Beta, and switching to Multiplatform is a huge change, the entire GUI is different, preview is different, the whole Scenes / sources deal is different, and most of all, I don't know how to enable file output only without stream settings enabled. Can someone tell me how to disable streaming and only output to file?

stream and record trigger separately. It's not currently coded to allow both to start at once.

Just set up your recording settings and don't hit "start streaming"

The main problem though is that when I record with file output, I can set my bitrate high to way, way over my upload speed. so thanks I guess, I'll just have to make two profiles as per normal anyway.

With multiplatform, you can set up one profile to be able to stream and record, and have them at separate resolutions and bitrates.
