Question / Help How to exclude audio from an app from stream?

I can see several guides on here about how to include audio from different apps/mics to a stream, but how can I exclude something?

I'm mostly recording local videos only at the moment, as my upload bandwidth is pretty terrible. I tend to listen to online music or other streams while recording, but I don't want the audio from my Chrome session to be recorded. How can I exclude that?

Thanks!

close everything and install dfx audio enhancer and then from the game options output audio directly to your sound card playback (not dfx not the default) then from obs also use the sound card playback.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've downloaded & tried that, but my game doesn't have the option to use a particular output. Anything I can use to force it?

best way in that case is to run chrome/flash player from a separate machine. and incase that's not possible try running it in another windows/os on a virtual machine.
