Question / Help How to create a stacked list (playlist) of sources for a webinar

I am totally new to OBS, but LOVE IT! I will use it to stream a webinar hosted by my wife and partner. I am in broadcast TV so wish to produce a slick broadcast if possible. Thus ... can I stack the source elements (camera, slides, videos? ) in sequence to come up in the preview window and then just transition to the next? Also can a transition type be pre-assigned to each source element in the list?

this is how many live newscasts are built, often with nothing more than a “ take” button moving things along.

Finally if someone wishes to be my mentor I’d love that. shoot me a reply and we can connect! I have a ton of questions as we ramp up. THANKS!

The closest thing I can think of is to define a Sequence in the Advanced Scene Switcher, set them to a very short delay between scenes, and then configure a hotkey to start/stop the switcher.

So instead of a single keypress between scenes, you have two-- the first to hold on the current scene, and the second to let the switcher advance to the next in the sequence.

I came here to ask exactly the same question. I’ve also just joined and am brand new to OBS but loving it already.
I hope it is possible, but if not then may consider recording a series of short clips using OBS and then stitching them together using something like an old copy of Serif’s MoviePlus that I have lying around.

The stopping and starting might be too cumbersome to someone who is hosting the event and trying to run OBS as well. It sounds like a totally new playback function would have to be designed - but OH SO COOL ! Sequenced or stacked playbacks.
