How to check if my game is recording / paused while in full screen

normally you can check if your rec is paused or not if you look at icon of OBS in taskbar.
But when u are rec in full screen you cant see taskbar and there is no in game indicator to check if your rec is paused or not without switching tabs and checking OBS

and i have to rec in full screen mode because if its not full screen it rec in 1920x1017 instead of 1920x1080

please tell me a solution for this either a way to be able to see rec indicator in full screen or a way to rec in 1920x1080 without having the game in full screen.
