Question / Help How to change resolution

Hi all,

I've read a lot of guides on how to stream and normally it's fine. However, people talk in terms of 1080p/720p/etc and I'm not sure where they are getting that.

I stream at 1920x1080 @ 30 FPS. Is that 1080p? And the resolution scale would be 720p?

1920x1080 is 1080p.

You can set base resolution and resolution downscale in your Video settings.

Generally when people say 1080p or 720p, the number refers to the amount of vertical lines in the picture. In your case, on a 1920x1080 resolution monitor, you have 1080 vertical lines of pixels. The P refers to progressive scan as opposed to interlaced in a 1080i feed. That's...a more complicated difference, but wikipedia should help you out there if you are more interested.
