Question / Help How to capture Avermedia

I recently just purchased an Avermedia Live gamer HD -C985. Every time I try to add the device to a scene in OBS it just comes up as a black screen. I'm launching the Avermedia RECenter so that I can see my Xbox 360. If I add a simple monitor capture, it works fine. But I'd rather just capture the gameplay and not have my taskbar pop up every time I need to click on something.

Is there another way to just launch avermedia so that I can see the console footage? Any help would be appreciated.

You can't have the device open in multiple apps. Use either OBS or RECenter.

Do I just add the capture card to my scene and let it run without opening recenter? Also thank you for the quick reply

Add a video capture device source and select your capture card there.
