How to broadcast youtube videos in OBS

I can broadcast local videos as a media source but not videos with http addresses. Also tried doing it as a window or browser and it didn't work. How can I broadcast a video hosted on youtube in a livestream?

hiya, ive had this issue as well. you need to do is open you tube and leave it open on what you want, then in slobs add a WINDOW CAPTURE then in the WINDOW option box navigate the options untill it shows the window you want in the display, and DONE

Create a new browser source setting the resolution equal to the one you're aiming for.
Paste de URL for the video you want to stream in the URL field.
Done.

Now, notice the video starts automátically and you can see the page. With the source selected click on Interact and a new window is open where you can interact with the page. Simple click on Full Screen in the video player and that's all. Now pause the video and move the time bar to 0. Keep this window open so you can use the controls on the player.
Of course, this don't disable ads.

Wonderful. The key was the interact. I could do it in a browser but had to let the ads run full time because I couldn't interact. Thank you so much!!!!
