How to add a cursor highlight?

Most tools like PointerFocus add a slight delay when you move the mouse quickly. How can I add a semitransparent yellow circle to my cursor that moves simultaneously?

OBS does not provide this functionality. You will need to find a third-party tool to do that, which is outside the scope of OBS support.

Ok, suppose I added an image as a source. Can I draw a cursor on top of that image? I mean disable Capture Cursor in Display Capture and then somehow capture the cursor separately?

You absolutely can add an Image Source and drag it around in the Preview window, but it will not follow your actual cursor automatically.

This:
"OBS does not provide this functionality. You will need to find a third-party tool to do that, which is outside the scope of OBS support."
is the answer for another question:
"Most tools like PointerFocus add a slight delay when you move the mouse quickly. How can I add a semitransparent yellow circle to my cursor that moves simultaneously? "

Yep. And the follow-up question was essentially the same thing but worded differently. OBS can't attach an image source to follow your pointer. Which is what "OBS does not provide this functionality. You will need to find a third-party tool to do that, which is outside the scope of OBS support." means.

I already found a plugin for this.
My question is how to capture the mouse cursor movements separately from the screen.
