Question / Help How much does higher audio bit affect stream?

hi so ive always kept my audio bit rate and default or one over default. how much does it affect the performance if i max it out?

For mp3 (with cbr audio bitrate) 320-128=192kbps so it will add 192 kbps to your bandwidth requirement as for AAC it should be slightly more than that. aac at 128kbps is usually more than enough unless you're playing lossless music or something and want to preserve as much audio quality as possible.

I usually go with 160kbps AAC to have a bit higher than average but to not increase the bitrate too much.
