How do you capture in HDR when there's no 10bit video format option for the source properties?

You need to select a 10-bit color format in Settings > Advanced > Vidoe > Color format to switch OBS to HDR processing in general.

But that's just the output. Why have a Video Format for the video input if it serves no purpose? There's only NV12 and YUY2 for the Video Format input which are 8-bit colour formats.

I'm having trouble getting the colours of a Sky Q 2160p 50hz HLG F1 channel to come out correctly. These are my settings:

Source Properties: Video Format: NV12
Color Space: Rec. 2100 (HLG)
Colour Range: Limited

Settings: Advanced > Color Format: P010 (10bit) [This makes the video 10bit]
Color Space: Rec. 2100 (HLG)

The colours a a bit too over saturated in the capture. I could instead set the input nd/or output color a space to Rec 2100 PQ but that makes the picture look even worse.
