I had finally managed to suppressed the static noise using VTSHost, but I want to use it when I'm streaming and I don't want to have an echo coming into play when streaming. How do I set this up?
Use VB Audio Cable, or Virtual Audio Cable.
In VST Host, set your devices to: In: Microphone, Out: VB/VA Cable, process your effects chain.
In OBS, set your Aux input (Usually Microphone) to now be VB/VA Cable.
VAC = Payware.
VB Cable = Donationware.
Both do similar jobs :)
This video highlights how to do it all, but uses VoiceMeeter (VB Cable).
