If you are into reading a book vs watching a tutorial, and ok with a non-gamer focused perspective, Paul Richards of Streamgeeks.us/PTZ Optics has a Unofficial Guide to OBS Studio (v 27) (paperback has a cost, free in PDF from author 's site) that would be a good start if you need more than the Getting Started here. And are the type who tells others, vs being told, to RTFM

A v27 book should be fine to get you started. Just look at the change log/release notes for OBS Studio v28 so you recognize some of the areas that might have changed from v27
