I've been able to record my Xbox One S (via the Win 10 Xbox Console Companion app) with full 30FPS @ 720p on my budget HP laptop (on 4G wireless internet). I've used Game Capture as the source as it seems to be lag free.
However, I only know how to record and stream with the Xbox CC app as the main window and OBS in the background. The Xbox CC app won't appear otherwise, only showing a black window. Obviously, this means I won't be able to see how well it's recording/streaming - running the risk of lag and other difficulties going unnoticed.
Is there a way (from within OBS) to record/stream while seeing the Game Capture window in the Main OBS window without having the Xbox CC app as the main window?
Thanks.
