I just published my very first youtube video, i figured im already playing the games, why not just publish them online for others to watch for lets plays, well i recorded my first video on OBS using the window capture mode due to game capture only recording the audio and giving me only a black screen during testing, then uploaded it to youtube about an hour ago and after going to eat and coming back i noticed it was done processing and the resolution locked at 360p and looks like crap... from what i can tell im recording in 1080p, so idk what else to do....

I uploaded the raw output video from OBS to Youtube....

You have 720p now.

Remember that when YouTube has finished processing, that only means the low rez version is live. It takes times to process all the other resolutions. Particularly if you do a long video and or go all the way to 1080p 60fps (or higher).

I usually upload my videos to YouTube and schedule them for the next day. So they are fully encoded at all resolutions. Or you can upload it as a private video and make it public once you see all rez's are encoded.
