I need to record various apps / windows within a certain grid on my Mac's screen (ie: not the whole screen).
During these recordings, I sometimes need to save something from one of these apps, and when I click CMD + SHIFT + S, the "Save As..." dialog box pops-up right in the middle of my recording (essentially ruining the recording, or at least giving me the added task of having to edit out that momentary cover-up).
How can I set an "Off Limits Zone" while recording a portion of my screen, so that any new "Save As..." or "Finder" windows are prevented from appearing within that recording grid?
