How can I do with one computer only (i7 3.6Ghz, 32Gb RAM, NVidia 1050),
multiple re-streams of online course classes generated in 4 Google Meet rooms?

Thanks

I just did a test with Whereby and managed to put 4 meetings with 4 OBS instances on the same computer!
Google Meet that does not allow you to login from within the OBS Browser!
Is it possible to login to Google Meet from within the OBS Browser?

At least that is possible. Do a right-click onto your browser-source in OBS and click "interact".
If that's not your problem, but Google puts restrictions onto the builtin-browser of OBS, you might use four (external) browser-instances. If there are not enough monitors to capture but you have classes with more computers, you can screenshare (and get into obs) other participants browser-view by using https://obs.ninja. Then the external computers do handle the Google-Meet-stuff and your obs-internal browser handles only views the shared screens...

Was it just open that sessions or did you streaming out finally for all of the four instances? **astonished**
I can imagine if you stream with reduced resolutions?

What did I do last year, when I worked with recordings of classes through Whereby, I received the image of each classroom through the Input >> Browser and did the re-transmission to record in a restricted group on Facebook!
For each classroom I would open an instance of the OBS and re-broadcast it to a different Facebook group.

>> 4 classrooms >> 4 instances of OBS >> 4 restricted groups on Facebook where classes were recorded and thus are already published in a restricted way for students to watch later.

I use a 4.0Ghz i7, with 32Gb RAM, NVidia 1050 Ti, MB MSI Z97-G45 Gamming, Corsair SSD for the system and 2 more SATA Seagate 7,200 rpm hard drives.

Yeah, i understood you right that. But i've to ask kindly, as you wrote "I would open..." Would you, or did you already and it worked in the past? At which resolution per classroom?

Can you say which generation of i7 do you have? I was astonished to see that my old i7 (4th gen) blasts loud while streaming 1080p30 with "veryfast" option, while my new one (i7 10th gen) keeps calm and silent even if i keep with the cpu rendering and a more cpu-intensive setting, in contrast. :D

In 2020 from June to December, I worked with re-streaming live classes online to Facebook! I was re-streaming live 4 lessons with the Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790K CPU running at 4.00GHz and I used an NVidia 1050Ti graphics card together and it worked fine!
The processor temperature, in the summer season, operated around 72º at most! And I used external ventilation to keep it at 50º.

I just don't understand why Google Meet is no longer allowed to be used in Input >> OBS Browser?

Regarding the past: You lucky one...! :-)

Regarding Google Meet: I don't think that it's a matter of "being allowed" in the browser. Personally i think that the Meet developers changed something what raises compatibility issues for different browsers. Have you tried meanwhile the re-streaming of _external_ browser instances?

Ok, about Google Meet I agree with you! They touched on the possibility of opening it from within the OBS and currently we can't do that anymore!
As for the possibilities to open externally, it requires more than one monitor! Unfortunately at the moment I don't have a lot of resources, I only have a computer with a monitor and I need to find a way to work with the resources I have.
I know that using Input >> Windows Capture it is possible to do with only one instance, I couldn't open other screens without locking the image in OBS.
But I will continue researching and testing.

Thanks for your help!

Did i mentioned obs.ninja?
If there are no possibilities to use more than one local meet instances (due to lack of monitors e.g.) but if you have three participants in the other meetings they could restream their desktop or meet instance by obs.ninja.
obs.ninja provides an url for each captured instance, what you can integrate into your obs instances via _browser source_. :)
Maybe its too lame, but you can give it a try.

The first tests I did with OBS.ninja I found the idea and the system very good, but I didn't find it safe to use in Lives, yet!
I think the system needs to become more robust and stable so that we can have as much confidence as possible.
For now for more guaranteed services I use vMix myself.
I think OBS.ninja has a lot of future and will be a great option soon!
