Question / Help How do I intall plugins on a mac?

External plugins are not yet supported on OBS for Mac, since it just manually loads the plugins that come with the program and no others. I believe this will be changed in the next release. But keep in mind that plugins will have to be written specifically for OBS for Mac. You will not be able to just install old OBS plugins for it.
 
You can't yet. OBS for Mac is still alpha software and is missing many features that will be forthcoming.
 
You can use it, but you can't yet add text sources or countdown clocks. If that's a dealbreaker, then so be it. Those features will be added in future releases.
 
The next version should support the loading of arbitrary plugins, but again, remember, you will NOT be able to use plugins that were written for the original OBS. People will need to write new plugins.
 
OBS on mac will support media with alpha channels.
