Question / Help How do I get media source to play when switching from Scene 1 to Scene 2?

Hi, I'm trying to get a Scene 2 media source (mp4) playing when I switch from Scene 1 to Scene 2, but it doesn't play the video (Test media source) when I switch to scene 2. Any ideas what's going wrong or how I can make this happen?

The video will play when I go into the media source settings and click OK, but not after that. Also the video will play if I select Loop, but it's an 5 second intro video that I want to start when I switch to the scene - loop won't work for what I need. I'm using the following media source settings and have tried what seems like all combinations. Hope someone can help. Thanks.

Make sure you have installed the correct version of VLC, If you are running OBS x64 then you must have VLC x64 too.
I didn't read your log-file, just a quick tip (and by no means I'm an expert)

09:33:17.620: Couldn't find VLC installation, VLC video source disabled

so my claim might be right.

Thanks a lot MrGusse. I've now installed it and VLC's showing in the log, but no difference. I also played with the VLC video source instead of "Media Source" and couldn't get consistent results there either unfortunately.

Using x64 versions of both
