How do i fix static audio from a capture device?

I'm using a cheap capture card to stream Switch 2 games. The audio in OBS is VERY static. I initially thought it as issue with the capture card, but when streaming in discord, the audio sounds normal, so i think the issue is with the OBS settings. What should i do?
