Question / Help How do I download 64-bit OBS?

I was recording, and found out i have the 32 bit software when my computer is 64-bit. there is no button that says "64-bit" so i dunno.

Both versions are installed if you have a 64-bit OS (or maybe in every case). Should be two different links available, one for 32 bit, one for 64 bit.

64-bit does actually have a very small speed boost. Not usually worth it when dealing with hardware which may only have 32-bit drivers, as well as plugins that may not have 64-bit builds available.

But if your entire workflow is 64-bit, it can be a nice bump; especially to help out older hardware that might be a little borderline or prone to stutter, framedupe or skip, where 5-10% extra oomph can give you a bit more margin to handle load peaks smooth(ish)ly.

Why do you think you need to use 64-bit?

Because i think thats why the audio may not be recording
