So I want to capture the sound on a game that is web based. I want to livestream it but for some reason it isn't picking up the sound for the game. How do I get it to pick up the sound of the game.

I am going to be on Skype with my friend too though, so I want to be able to pick up both. It does it for me when in Game Capture but switching over to Software Capture to capture the website of the game and such, it stops picking up the noise for the game. It can pick up Skype but... How can I get it to pick up the game?

Does this make sense? :c Please help..? D:

Could post a log file?
For starters what is your audio output? As in source?

Also just to add on, if you want viewers to hear skype members on the stream, you will probably need Virtual Audio Cables.

Another method might be going into the control panel and right click on the audio source (recording tab) and select the "listen" check box. Then choose from the drop down menu and select the source you want to transfer. There are alot of ways but it can be done. Just post back if there's no progress, just trying to guide you in a general direction for troubleshooting.

EDIT: If you are using a headset, just make sure its the playback audio device in OBS. Then, going to the control panel - hardware and sound - manage audio devices - then make the headset default playback. That should direct all audio, if the browser audio is still not there, then click on the audio icon (bottom right of screen) and see if your browser audio is turned down/muted.

also, if you set your mic to listen and make skype play other ppl thru the speakers, itll pick it all up...but that means you can hear urself thru the speakers anytime u talk...generally, by default itll pick up anything that goes thru Stereo Mix, meaning anything u can hear thru ur default playback device.

@bart, Yes that is correct, I hated hearing myself when i spoke, pretty hard to continue a stable conversation lol. There are solutions to get around this, either by using a search engine or looking for youtube tutorials/guides.
