How can I safely remove 'audio-monitor/plugin'?

Hi folks. I use OBS with a Streamdeck controller for Zoom. Today I updated OBS to the latest (32.0.1) and I get this message:
"The following OBS plugins failed to load:
audio-monitor
Please update or remove these plugins"

And my Streamdeck buttons no longer function. So I have two questions:
1. How can I safely remove the audio-monitor.plugin without crashing anything else?
2. Is my Streamdeck having trouble simply because this audio monitor plugin needs to be removed?
