How can I have different Twitch alerts in different areas of the screen?

I'd like to have New Follower alerts slide in from the side, but have New Subscriber alerts fade in in the middle top of the screen. I can't work out how to do this in OBS and I can't find a single explanation anywhere. I'd be grateful for any help.

You need to set that in the alert service you want to use. If you only stream to Twitch, use their alert service. Then configure it as you want. Simple look into the settings and read the documentation.
