I'm still on Mac OS Sierra and with the update, unfortunately, it doesn't work anymore since OS X.13 is required.
Is there a way to go back to OBS 25.0.4?

Thanks

I have the same issue even after updating from Sierra to Majove 10.14.6 after I tried the OBS update. So I'm following to see if there's a fix. I tried going back to OBS 24.0.6 and now that's not working either.

Yes, there is a way to go back, there are many previous versions that work, but after about an hour of research, I found that this is the latest stable version for Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6. Click here to start an auto download: obs-mac-24.0.6.dmg.

I'm having similar issues! Was testing some video capture devices and it just crashed over and over. It had been stable for like 4 hours before the first crash

Deleted all and reinstalled and now it just fails to open even after reverting to 24.0.6 I too am using Sierra 10.12.6

Keep doing that and trying the downloads until one works. It may take a while, but should work. Otherwise, I don't have the best knowledge of computer software, but I do know that once your Macs start to get older, and can't be updated anymore they start doing weird stuff like that. I would know because about 4 months ago I was running off of a 2009 Mac. lol.

Finally got it working. Downloaded 24.0.6

Once added to apps folder I restarted first then installed and it came right up

well, this is just off of experience, but I would go to finder, check applications, downloads, all my files, desktop, and documents. after that go to imac hd, which if you can't find that, search for it under "this Mac" and it should show up. After that, click library, application support, and search for it in there. I find that files get stuck in application support a lot.
